Neem Tree



Neem is a complete deciduous tree of Indian origin. It has been found in the countries of adjoining countries - Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka etc. for centuries. But in the last nearly 150 years, this tree has reached the geographical boundaries of the Indian subcontinent, too, in many heat and sub-tropical countries of Africa, Australia, South East Asia, South and Central America and Southern Pacific Islands. Its botanical name is 'Melia azadirachta or Azadiracta Indica'.

Neem is a fast growing autumn tree, which can reach a height of 15-20 m (about 50-65 ft) and sometimes up to 35-40 m (115-131 ft) tall. Neem serious dry leaves mostly or almost all of the leaves fall off. The spread of its branches is widespread. The stem is relatively straight and small and can reach 1.2 meters in diameter. Its bark is rigid, diffused or loose, and its color can be white-gray or red, brown. The juice is brownish white and the end is reddish in color, which, when exposed to air, changes into red-brown color. The root system consists of a strong main pit root and well-developed lateral roots.

20-40 cm (8 to 16 inches) long rectangular pale leaves, from 20 to 31 deep dark green sheets, whose length ranges from 3-8 cm (1 to 3 inches). The terminal (sheet) is often used. The petiole is small. The color of the thorns (new leaves) is a little purple or reddish. The size of mature sheets is usually asymmetric and their sides are dense.


Flowers are white and fragrant and are decorated in a hanging bouquet that is about 25 cm long (10 inches) long. Its fruit is greasy (amorphous) oval by spherical and it is called Nimbolley. The fruit peel is thin and the mush is bitter-sweet in fibrous, white yellow color and flavor. The thickness of the pulp is 0.3 to 0.5 cm. The kernels are white and hard, in which there are two or three seeds which are brown in color.

Occupational cultivation of neem trees is not considered beneficial. Nearly 50000 neem trees have been planted to provide shelter for pilgrims near Mecca. [Fact desired]

The neem tree looks very similar to the sugarberry tree, which is a very poisonous tree.

Ecology


Neem tree is famous for its resistance to drought. Normally it results in sub-dry and low-humid areas where annual rainfall is between 400 to 1200 mm. It can also have fruits in those areas where the annual rainfall is less than 400 mm, in which case its existence depends on the level of satiation water. Neem can be grown in many different types of soil, but for this, it is best to have deep and sandy soils where the water is exhausted. It is a tree bearing tropical and subtropical climate and it can tolerate the average annual temperature between 22-32 degrees centigrade. It can tolerate very high temperatures, but it is dipped in temperature below 4 ° C. Neem is a lifelong tree, especially for coastal, southern districts. It is one of the shadowy (shady) trees of dry (cloud prone) areas. It is not a delicate tree and any kind of water is alive in sweet or even saline. In Tamil Nadu, this tree is very common and it is grown on the edge of rotation as a shady tree, in addition people also grow this tree in their courtyard. In very dry areas such as Sivakasi (Sivakasi), these trees have been planted in large part of the land and work in the factory to make fireworks in their shade.

Neem is a very good vegetable that is suitable for the Indian environment and is found in abundance in India. Neem is considered a very useful tree in Ayurveda. Its taste is bitter but its benefits are many and very effective.

1- Coating of neem bark is helpful in the treatment of all types of skin diseases and wounds.

2- Neem whitening keeps teeth and gums healthy.

8- Drink juice of neem leaves and honey in proportion to 2: 1, it is beneficial in jaundice and it also benefits in ear disorders by putting it in the ear.

9- Drinking 5-10 drops of neem oil by putting it in the milk while sleeping, drinking excessive sweating and burning sensation is very beneficial.

10- Take powdered neem seeds with empty stomach water, it is very beneficial in piles.
